I love waterfalls! When I was about four years old, my family visited Niagara Falls. Although I don’t recall a lot of detail, the falls must have made an impression on me. I still have vague memories of standing there and watching the spray, feeling the mist, seeing people in yellow rain slickers.
But waterfalls aren’t only fun to watch, they’re fun to draw, too. In today’s The Joy of Art video tip, I’m going to show you how to draw a waterfall.
In this video, I’ll be using lecturer’s chalk (you can buy it at eternityarts.com). As with my other chalk tutorials, this will also work with soft pastels.
So get out some chalk (or pastels) and paper, and let’s have some fun.
