Crying for the Right Reasons

Review by Overjoyed (Posted on 4/28/13)

My son and I just watched "Crossmaker", and completed the first art lesson! WOW!!! I cried as I watched the story, and marveled at how easy the lettering art lesson was (and the surprises of the black light!). I loved this so much that I just bought a set for my best friend and her children.
Go with the Glow!

Review by A good "stumble" (Posted on 1/22/12)

I stumbled across this company through a giveaway on another blog. I did some research and decided to purchase some of their materials.
While I am good at arts and crafts, I am in no way qualified to teach art concepts. I put the first DVD in thinking that I could get some work done while the kids learned art from a professional.
I put in the DVD and was immediately drawn to how fun and interesting it was. It also had a unique feature I had never seen before.
While there are a bunch of different techniques they teach (painting, drawing, pastels, creative letering) the one that stood out the most to me was drawing with fluorescent pencils that GLOW when held up to a black light! AWESOME!
So much more

I knew I wanted something different for my own kids and children's church , so I took a chance and bought the set.
I worry about the Easter story being so familiar that kids fail to be touched by the sacrificial love of God - John 3:16. This story is magnificent. Even the elementary age boys were attentive. And then - the art lessons! They do emphasize the story, the kids love the drawing and learning, and the black light is the best.
Let's have more of these See The Light.
